Multi-timeframe confluence

Most setups look better when the big picture and the small picture agree. This alert only fires when the higher timeframe and a lower timeframe line up: the 4-hour trend must be clearly established, a 15-minute or 1-hour pattern must fire in that same direction, and momentum must not be stretched against the move.

In plain terms

The big trend and the small-timeframe trigger point the same way at the same time. That agreement filters out a lot of the weak, against-the- trend signals.

What triggers it

Three checks must all pass:

  1. Big trend confirmed: on the 4-hour chart, the slope of the 50-bar moving average has pointed steadily in one direction for at least 20 bars.
  2. Small-timeframe trigger: any single detector fires on the 15m or 1h chart in the same direction as that 4-hour trend.
  3. Momentum gate: RSI on the lower timeframe is not pinned at the opposite extreme (at least 30 for bullish setups, at most 70 for bearish ones).

How Signalix scores strength

The base score is 4 out of 5. We add a point when a third timeframe (such as the daily) also agrees, producing a true three-timeframe stack of confidence.

Why it helps

Setups that only look good on one timeframe often run straight into support or resistance from a larger one. By insisting the bigger trend agrees first, this alert filters out the noisiest counter-trend signals.
